One of the Last Great British Adventures…….
There’s one very important member of the team who we haven’t introduced to you yet.
The Lady Kate is a 24 metre converted fishing trawler which will play a key part in Beeline Britain logistics. She will provide safety support cover for the kayaking phases and will also be used as a filming platform by our dedicated camera crew, Ian & Roland.
The Lady Kate began her life in 1969 in Dunstone Yard in Hull and has had numerous homes over the last 45 years. Her original name is Rosamunda and whilst part of the Fleetwood registered fishing fleet she became the biggest earner of the fleet.
She was bought in 1999 by Kate Williams and now lives in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire. The Lady Kate is regularly used to support dive trips and charity challenges and has previously supported a list of celebrities including Richard Branson and his Virgin team to swim from Holyhead to Dublin.
A big thank you to to Kate, Chris & Friedel for embracing the Beeline Britain concept. Flexibility is the key. See you in Land’s End!
