Beeline Britain

One of the Last Great British Adventures…….

Wonderful Porthgain and on to Holyhead

The Beeline Team have finally landed the weather window that we were waiting for and the ongoing Northerly winds are due to swing to the South. So the team suited up in Porthgain harbour ready for an epic 28 hour push on to North Wales and Holyhead.

100’s of people and a squad of Liverpool kayakers came down to meet the team and wave them off on the next gruelling leg of their journey.

The four Beeliners will paddle, non-stop through the night hopefully passing the Llŷn Peninsula between midnight and 4am Monday morning and arriving into Anglesey tomorrow afternoon. It will be as tough a challenge as their first, record breaking, leg from Land’s End to Pembrokeshire.

Adam, especially, is excited to paddling into his home stretch of water. Follow the teams progress, updated every 30mins, on the tracker page through yellow brick.

We owe a big thank you to everyone that come down to cheer the team off and the armada of kayakers that saw the Beeline Team on their way – thank you!

I was one of the kayakers from the Liverpool Canoe Club who were with you when you left Porthgain. Very glad to hear that you arrived at Anglesey OK. All the best of luck for the next stage of the trip.
